Musical Theater Summit, Lisbon -
12-16 July 2023

For the first time ever, Lisbon will host the Musical Theater Summit 2023

On July, 12, at 8PM, do not miss an intimate talk Heart to Heart with six time Tony WInner, Audra McDonald.

On July, 16 at 9PM, a special Summer night with the showcase Broadway in the Park, reuniting on stage 30 actors, including Broadway performers James Ludwig and Kristen Beth Williams, in the Gardens of the Portuguese National Theatre and Dance Museum, in Lisbon.

The Summit will also host a 5-day Summer Intensive Workshop (12-16) with broadway actors James Ludwig and Kristen Beth Williams and a Playwritting Masterclass with Adam Bock.

Elaine Petricoff is the Chair of A.M.D.A NY Musical Theater Department and an accomplished actor, singer and director. She has dedicated over twenty years to the development and excellence of curriculum, faculty and teaching methods that has produced artists who are working professionals in the United States and all over the world. Her Broadway acting credits include Grease, The Me Nobody Knows, Ride The Winds, and The End of The World, working with Harold Prince. Off-Broadway: Roundabout Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, West Side Arts Center. Numerous tours. Directed at The Skylight Opera, New York University. Taught and choreographed for The Berkshire Theater Festival. Elaine has taught Master classes in Canada, Brazil and Israel. Private study with Sanford Meisner; Studied script analysis with Stella Adler.

Broadway Singing Masterclass SOLD OUT

Matt Farnsworth is one of the most acclaimed vocal coaches worldwide. His students include Matt has taught hundreds of Broadway actors, film stars and recording artists which include Sara Bareilles, Carly Rae Jepsen and American Idol finalists Constantine Maroulis and Pia Toscano. His students have been nominated and won Oscar, Tony and Grammy awards and can be seen performing in Film and Television, on Broadway. Currently Matt serves as the Oficial Vocal Coach for Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and has students in Wicked, & Juliet, Phantom of the Opera, The Music Man, Beetlejuice, Hadestown, The Book of Mormon, Frozen, Chicago, Aladdin, Jagged Little Pill, Mean Girls, Come from Away, Oklahoma, Waitress, Hamilton, Moulin Rouge and Tina just to name a few. Matt has most recently been working on The Color Purple movie musical (produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey). Matt served as Coach of several film and TV productions such as the movie Respect, The Prom or Orange is the New Black. Before Matt decided to pursue teaching full time, he performed on Broadway and regionally in The Who's Tommy, Cats, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sunset Boulevard and Curtains.

In this unique Masterclass in Europe, Matt Farnsworth will teach his own tecnhique called Belxing to find the perfect chest mix on each participant
